We are all God's children
I may not define God the same way that you do.
In fact. you may call God by another name, or by Goddess.
The point is, it doesn't matter.
We are all God's, regardless of the definition, regardless of the belief, regardless of the name.
I am a mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin and friend. I am called Grandma, Ma, Momma, Sandra, Saundra, Sandra Jane, and Sandi.
I don't care which name they use, I will answer to them all. If any of my children or grandchildren ever decided to call me by another name - I would not care - I would still answer.
If you believe in a supreme deity that you believe embodies righteousness on a much grander scale than any human is capable of possessing, then how can you expect anything less from this deity? And, if you expect less from this deity, then you must be incorrect with your definition of supreme being or deity.
How can you believe that only "some" of the people of this earth are God's children?
From the New Testament of the Bible: Think on these things.
It is noble to love all of creation.
It is right to treat all humans fairly, justly and equally.
It is pure to love in the face of hatred.
It is lovely to imagine a world where people actually lived by these verses. That would truly be admirable, excellent and praiseworthy.
Regarding the word "holiday,"
Old English hāligdæg = ‘holy day.’
So.... Happy Holy Days!
